The Story of ICHIRAN

Unofficially, ICHIRAN is an introverted ramen-lover’s dream restaurant. Officially, it is Japan’s most popular tonkotsu spot with over 80 locations worldwide, including 3 in New York City.

It all started with a small shop in the heart of Fukuoka and an obsession with tonkotsu ramen that led to decades of recipe research and experimentation.

 

The result is a mouth-watering bowl of tonkotsu ramen and the solo Ramen Focus Booths where diners can take a quiet moment to mindfully savor and slurp their ramen.

Though diners normally customize the umami levels of ICHIRAN’s ramen, ICHIRAN will offer its Classic Tonkotsu Ramen at its default flavor levels at JapanFest Atlanta.
