Matsuriza will shake the the ground of Atlanta again! 

Feel the beat of Japan shake your inner core as the Matsuriza drum group brings their giant  instruments back to the JapanFest main stage. The drummers will have you shaking from head to toe and the Gas South Center vibrating from floor to roof.

Matsuriza Taiko Experience

BANG!

Pick up your drumsticks, and "Bang!" the drum. At each stage, several lucky audience members will be selected to jam with Matsuriza drummers.

ON THE DRUM!

From ancient times the taiko was used in Japan for communicating with allies, frightening pests away from crops, and inspiring morale in battling Samurai soldiers. It also played an important role in festivals, rainmaking rituals, and the lively dancing of the bon odori.

Matsuriza will appear on the stage twice a day for both Saturday and Sunday
